Sanjay Dutt shares an old picture with dad Sunil Dutt as he pays his tribute on his death anniversary

Today marks the death anniversary of one of the most loved Bollywood actors, Sunil Dutt. He was also a producer, director and politician. The actor has won many hearts with his performances through films. Besides being a romantic actor, of which he was well known, he also performed as a villain in many films and was appreciated for this work as well. On May 25, 2005, two weeks before his birthday, Sunil Dutt died of a heart attack at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

Sunil Dutt married his co-star Nargis and the couple had three children – Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt.

Today, on the death anniversary of his beloved father, Sanjay Dutt shared an old picture with his dad, Sunil Dutt with a perfect caption.

The picture shows a very young Sanjay standing with his father who he looks up to, even in the picture. His caption reads, “A parent, an idol, a friend, a mentor – you were everything to me. Love you Dad, miss you.”

Sanjay’s younger sister, Priya Dutt, who’s also a politician, also shared a picture of a young Sunil Dutt on her Instagram. “That smile lights up my day….. #sunildutt #love #dad,” she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the lineup of Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming films is very interesting. The actor will be seen in a never seen avatar in Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2. The film also stars Raveena Tandon and is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Besides this, the Sadak actor also has Shamshera in his kitty wherein he will be sharing the screen space with Ranbir Kapoor.
