German rental company Autokran-Krandienst Jaromin has taken the first 80 tonne Tadano GTC-800EX telescopic crawler crane to be delivered in the country.

The crane features a 43 metre five section main boom, a 2.5 metre heavy lift jib or a 17.7 metre bi-fold swingaway extension to offer a maximum tip height of 63 metres. Features include the company’s AML-C crane control and HelloNet telematic management systems, while it can automatically configure its load chart depending on the extension of each track and slope angle - up to four degrees.
The GTC-800EX is the first Tadano telescopic crawler crane in the company’s fleet. Its first job involve lifting pipe rammer equipment and materials on a site in Essen.

General manager Olaf Jaromin said: “It really passed the test with flying colours. And if the GTC-800EX continues to do this well, it’s very well possible that it will be joined by more GTC crawler cranes in the future. The load chart shows that it is the best in-class crane at an inclination of four degrees. Even before looking at optional extras, the GTC-800EX comes with extremely high quality, a lot of standard equipment and an undeniably attractive price/performance ratio.”
Established in 1982, Jaromin runs a fleet of All Terrain, crawler, spider and mobile self-erecting tower cranes from its location in Oberhausen.
