Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus updated with December 2020 security patch: Report
HMD Global-owned Nokia is reportedly rolling out updates to Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus smartphones. As reported by NokiaMob, the update brings Android security patch for December to all three devices. It also updates the handsets’ system with UI changes and performance enhancements.
According to the report, the update brings build version 1.130 to Nokia 2.4. It is 1.36MB in size. The software version also comes with minor tweaks to the phone’s UI and also improves the overall system performance. The report says that the update is available to all Nokia 2.4 users globally. While it is an OTA update and is being rolled out in a phased manner, users can also check the update manually by heading to the Settings section of the phone.
Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus, on the other hand, are being updated with the December security patches. While the size of the security patch for Nokia 6.1 phone is 32.89MB, for Nokia 7 Plus users the update is 32.46MB large.
To recall, Nokia 2.4 was recently launched in India with a price tag of Rs 10,399. The handset comes in a single model and packs 3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage capacity. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and houses a 4500mAh battery.
