Four people have been charged following a fight in Pwllheli town centre.
A 19-year-old man and two youths, from Gwynedd, were last night charged with public order offences and bailed to appear in court.
Another 19-year-old man from Liverpool was also charged and remanded in police custody to appear before the court this morning, also charged with public order offences.
Officers were called on Monday afternoon by concerned members of the public, to a report of a number of males fighting in the street.
Inspector Matt Geddes, of North Wales Police (NWP), said: "Violence such as this will not be tolerated, it risks serious injury and puts innocent members of the public at risk of harm.
"Swift action will be taken as in this case, to deal with those behaving in this manner. I would like to thank those in our community who alerted us so quickly to this situation."
