STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Tuesday said the government is committed to fast-pace the developmental activities so that the people get quality services and the state comes up as one of the models in the country. The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with several deputations from different parts of the state like Kathua, Billawar, Ramnagar, Chenani, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Jammu during his public durbar here today. Dr Singh said the government has undertaken massive developmental program and new initiatives have ensured that the socio-economic profile of the people of the state gets the requisite flip. The Deputy Chief Minister also met a deputation of lecturers of physical education department who raised several issues like fixing of seniority and their regularization. While interacting with them, he assured them that their issues would be redressed by taking them with concerned quarters. The deputation of housing board employees also called on the deputy chief Minister and raised several issues like regularization of their services. He assured them that the issue would be redressed in a tie bound manner.
