New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday sent out a strong warning to enemies of the nation, saying that India will give a fierce and fitting reply to those behind the Pahalgam terror attack, where 28 innocent Indians were brutally killed last month.
Addressing the crowd at the Sanatan Sanskrit Jagran Mahotsav in Delhi, Singh said, “I want to assure you that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, what the nation demands will definitely be done.”
He further added, “You all know our Prime Minister, his resolve, his clear vision, and his fearless way of working. He does not bend under pressure, and neither will India”.
Emphasising India’s growing strength, the Defence Minister said, “Our power doesn’t just come from our mighty armed forces, it comes from our rich culture and deep-rooted spirituality. That is what makes India truly powerful.”
He declared, “As Defence Minister, it is my responsibility to stand with our brave soldiers and ensure that anyone who dares cast an evil eye on India faces the consequences. They will be answered in the language they understand.”
Rajnath Singh, who is also the MP from Lucknow, stressed that a truly developed India, or Viksit Bharat, must be not just economically strong, but also spiritually and culturally rooted.
India has blamed Pakistan for the Pahalgam terror attack, saying that Pakistan continues to support terrorist groups that operate from its soil. In response, the Indian government has taken strong action. It has cancelled visas given to Pakistani citizens and also suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, which had been in place for many years.
The message from India is loud and clear, this country will not stay quiet. Anyone who harms innocent Indians will have to face serious consequences.
