Following a fatal road accident involving an NTPC truck that killed Vikas Kumar Ram, a road blockade in Keredari, Hazaribag, was lifted after officials agreed to compensate the victim's family.
Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday to promote the eco-friendly utilisation of fly ash in post-mining voids. The deal aims to address fly ash disposal challenges.
"The project aims not just to dispose of fly ash but to repurpose degraded mining land into ecologically viable spaces. It is expected to contribute to water conservation, soil quality improvement, and the revival of local biodiversity," officials said. TNN
