OJ Holding Sweden AB has acquired the Swedish fashion brand Filippa K from Novax. Filippa K offers womenswear and menswear collections sold through its own stores, online, and selected international retailers. Filippa K and Oscar Jacobson will continue to operate as independent brands within the same group.

Over the past three years, Oscar Jacobson has demonstrated profitable growth and now intends to develop Filippa K the same way within the Oscar Jacobson Group. Filippa K and Oscar Jacobson will continue to operate as standalone brands, with potential for synergies across different areas.

Filippa K was founded in 1993 and currently sells through its own stores, online and selected retailers. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and is established globally with a strong focus on the European market. Filippa K has undergone a transformation over the past two years with changes in organisation, product and brand. Oscar Jacobson will now, together with Filippa K, continue on that journey toward profitability and in the long term identify synergies across different areas.

Oscar Jacobson was founded in 1903 and reported net sales of SEK 506 million (~$50.6 million) in 2024, with an operating profit of SEK 47 million (~$4.7 million). In 2024 Filippa K’s revenue amounted to SEK 436 million (~$43.6 million), with a result of minus SEK 39 million (~$3.9 million). Following the acquisition of Filippa K, the total revenue of Oscar Jacobson group will amount to nearly SEK 1 billion (~$100 million). Since 2018, Oscar Jacobson has been part of the Mellby Gard Group.

Oscar Jacobson was founded in 1903 and is one of Sweden’s most established menswear brands. The brand combines high quality design, fabrics, and Ait with timeless elegance and contemporary fashion for style-conscious men of all ages. Sales are made through 22 standalone stores, the brand’s own e-commerce platform, and around 150 retailers. Since 2018, Oscar Jacobson has been owned by Mellby Ga° rd and reported net sales of SEK 506 million in 2024.
