VO1: In Tamenglong, a peaceful district of Manipur, unity thrives amid diversity.

Despite recent challenges, it remains a beacon of harmony, where Hindus and Christians live like one family.

Here, peace isn’t a dream but a daily reality — built on respect, love, and togetherness.

Kadi Kamei, Deacon, Zeliangrong Baptist Church

(Transcription) Despite tension, all communities live peacefully. Many different communities are here; you might have seen a Hindu temple. Hindus are a minority, but we don't disturb them

VO2: Though Tamenglong has a Christian majority, it proudly embraces the Kali Mata Temple, a sacred place for Hindus.

Devotees visit the temple regularly with faith and joy.

There is no fear or discrimination—only respect and acceptance. This reflects the town’s true spirit of unity, peace, and religious harmony.

Sanjay Jha, Hindu Priest

(Translation) We are all living among the local Christians. The local people have never disturbed this temple. We always support everyone during important festivals.

Bhim Prasad Koirala, Teacher

(Translation) There is no conflict between Hindus and Christians here, and the temple is also running well.

VO3: Every festival — be it Christmas, Durga Puja, or Eid — is celebrated together, echoing a spirit of unity.

Faiths may differ, but the language of love remains universal. In Tamenglong, hearts beat in unison—for peace, for coexistence.

Rathailung Gangmei, Youth Director of Tamenglong Baptist Church

(Transcription) We are happy that we are peaceful. There are so many communities, so many ethnicities and religions like Hindus, Christians, Muslims. We are living peacefully here.

VO4: Tamenglong is a town where religion unites, not divides. A shining example of how harmony isn’t a dream – it’s a choice, lived every single day.
