Nigerian woman found murdered in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A Nigerian woman in her 30s was found murdered in Chikkajala, Yelahanka, Wednesday morning. Though police identified the victim and know she comes from Cross River State, Nigeria, they are waiting for confirmation, sources said.
"There is an injury mark on her left forehead and there are signs of strangulation. We have shifted the body to Yelahanka govt hospital where an autopsy was carried out. Once we get the report, we can ascertain the cause of death. By then, we would have officially established her identity," an investigating officer said.
According to police, her body was found in a desolate place at Telecom Layout in Bettahalasur near Yelahanka.
