The event is the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer and took place in almost 60 cities nationwide. Survivors of the illness, along with supporters and celebs, walked in solidarity to bring awareness and donations needed for pancreatic cancer. The event raised nearly $16.5 million in the fight against the deadly disease and saw almost 63,000 people attend across the nation. The event held in Los Angeles had Hogey's Home Runners, created by Madison and Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) in honor of the late Drake Hogestyn (John Black), who passed away from the illness in 2024; they did so to raise funds and awareness in his memory. The team was co-captained by Madison and Lavoisier this year. Lisa Niemi Swayze, the wife of the late Patrick Swayze, cut the purple ribbon to open the ceremony this year. Swayze passed from pancreatic cancer in 2009.
