CPI(ML) flays PM for skipping all-party meeting
Patna: CPI(ML) general secretary, Dipankar Bhattacharya, on Tuesday flayed PM Narendra Modi for skipping the all-party meet that was convened to discuss the terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people last week.
Bhattacharya said the PM instead chose to visit Madhubani to address a meeting, adding he is further scheduled to visit Patna on May 4 to attend the inaugural function of Khelo India 2025.
"PM is more concerned about elections than national security," Bhattacharya alleged here while talking to reporters.
Bhattacharya, flanked by party functionaries, including Kunal, Dhirendra Jha, Amar, K D Yadav, Shashi Yadav and Sandeep Saurabh, said an all-party meeting was held on the demand of the opposition after the Pahalgam terror attack, but the CPI(ML) was not invited.
He said BJP won the Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, but lost in Jharkhand. "BJP will lose the Bihar assembly election also," Bhattacharya said, adding that the Grand Alliance is united, and a coordination committee and sub-committees would be constituted to carry out the programmes of the GA in the state.
