Post the barbaric terror attack in Pahalgam, residents of Lake ville Extension in RTC Colony of Tirumalgiri in Secunderabad, paid tributes to the victims.
Residents came together to strongly condemn the terror attack and also committed to stay united irrespective of their religious differences. The residents lit lamps, observed 2-minute silence in memory of the victims and conducted a candlelight march in their society.
Children lit one lamp each to all the 27 martyrs by calling out their names and prayed for their athma to attain moksha.
“This gesture was to instil national fervour in future generations by making them a part of activities relating to national interest as well as sensitising them on the importance of cohesive living,” said a press release from Lake ville Extension.
