Kim Sae Ron’s last work Guitar Man’s OST released; revenue to be invested in a special way

Actress Kim Sae Ron previously worked in two projects, Guitar Man and Everyday We Are, before her demise at 24. Guitar Man, a musical also starring Lee Sun Jung has reportedly completed filming in November 2024. On April 28, the makers unveiled the main OST, A World Without Pain. Post this, the makers mentioned exactly how the earning from the MV will be utilized, as quoted by K-media Chosun Biz.

About the OST ft Kim Sae Ron

The song is written and composed by Lee Sun Jung, also responsible for co-directing and producing the film. The storyline features a passionate guitarist who joins an underground band called Volcano. He then explore an interesting dynamics with the female protagonist, Yoo Jin, portrayed by Kim Sae Ron. Sae Ron featured in the MV beautifully captures the emotions with every note of the music in the MV.

Lee Sun Jung spoke about the actor, “She brought so much bright energy and passion to the set. I truly hoped for her to make a grand comeback.” It was his attempt to bring back the actor on the mainstream after the 2022 DUI incident. He added, “I wish she finds happiness in a world without pain, just like the title of the OST.”

“All revenue from the Guitar Man original soundtrack will be donated to the Korea Life Respect Hope Center.” This seemed as an asserted token for the actor by the filmmaker.
