Girl sexually assaulted in city

Patna: A 24-year-old youth was arrested on Sunday for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Patna on Saturday night. The accused was identified as Dhananjay Kumar. According to police, the accused entered the girl's house and sexually assaulted her. He frequently visited the locality as his relatives resided there. The victim's family lodged a formal complaint at the police station on Sunday. The police acted swiftly and took the accused into custody. "Investigation is currently underway. The accused will also be produced in court on Monday. The FSL team collected the evidence from the spot and is analysing all details," he said.
