City gears up to celebrate ‘World Design Day’ with theme ‘Design for Planet’
Nagpur: The Association of Designers of India (ADI), Nagpur chapter, is all set to celebrate ‘ World Design Day' on Sunday, April 27, at Chitnavis Centre from 10am to 12.30pm. This year's theme, ‘Design for Planet: From Usability to Sustainability', promises to spotlight the evolving role of design in shaping a sustainable future.
The event seeks to bring together designers, students, professionals, and sustainability advocates to explore how design can respond to global challenges and promote environmental consciousness. With focus on usability, sustainability, and innovation, the event aims to inspire meaningful conversations and collaborative action.
President Sharad Dahake emphasised the importance of community engagement in building a ‘reservoir of goodwill', encouraging brands to participate and showcase their commitment to sustainability.
