SC verdict in BPSC case
Patna: State Congress president Rajesh Kumar on Friday alleged the heads of almost all the higher education institutions and universities appointed from outside the state through the Raj Bhavan have exploited their position to make Bihar a hub of rigging and paper leaks.
He said hundreds of students had knocked the Supreme Court door in the hope of getting justice regarding the alleged irregularities in the 70th preliminary examination of the BPSC, "question paper leaks" and "serious flaws" in the examination process.
"We respect the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the Patna high court order that validated the examination process, but there will be an investigation into the rigging in the BPSC exam, if we form govt in Bihar," he said.
Rajesh also raised questions on the BPSC chairman and said the man from Gujarat had many allegations against him.
The Kutumba MLA also said the NEET paper leak mastermind, Sanjeev Mukhia, was not arrested but he surrendered.
State Youth Congress president Shiv Prakash Garib Das said his party will not be a mute spectator. "Congress will fight this battle of the students not only in the court but on every platform—from road to Parliament. We will resort to a review petition in the apex court or explore other available legal remedies to review this decision. It is not just about the exam, but the future of the youth. We will not compromise on the rights of our youth at any cost," Das said.
