New Delhi: Residents in central Delhi's Patel Nagar narrowly escaped when a fire broke out in their building. The fire department said that they received information around 6.15pm on Friday and four fire tenders along with 30 firefighters were rushed to the spot.
"The fire started in an inverter located in a clinic, and the smoke intensified. All the people evacuated themselves," a fire official said.
The fire department added that the multi-storey building had a clinic on the ground floor and residences on the upper floors. tnn
