UP Board: Kashi girl bags 8th rank in state with 96.67%
Varanasi: Khyati Singh of Vikas Inter College topped the district in UP Board Class 10 examination conducted by the UP Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad and secured the 8th rank in the state with 96.67% marks. The results of Class 10 and 12 were announced by the UPMSP on Friday.
Khyati's father, Sanjay Kumar Singh, who works as an accountant in a private firm, and her mother Kanchan Singh, a homemaker were proud of her achievement. The chairman of the college, AK Singh, extended his best wishes to her for future.
Two high school students from Gopi Radha Girls' Inter College made their school proud by securing their position in the district toppers' list. Pragya Kapoor scored 570 out of 600, achieving 95% and securing the 7th position in the district while Chitranshi Kushwaha from Hindi medium section scored 94.33% and secured the 10th position in the district. They were congratulated by the school's director, Shalini Shah, and principal, Neeti Jaiswal. The director has announced scholarships for both the students.
Additionally, 98% of students in classes 10 and 12 achieved success in UP Board examination. In class 10, 156 out of 159 students passed, while at the intermediate level, 194 out of 197 students passed. At the intermediate level, Sneha Yadav scored 83%, while Pratishtha Jaiswal scored 82.6% marks.
