Motorbike rider killed in accident

Udupi: A two-wheeler rider died in an accident at Kundapur on Wednesday. The deceased is Arun,34.
In a complaint, Sudhakar stated that the incident took place when he was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his relative, Arun. While passing close to the Koteshwara Nagabana Katte in Koteshwara village, on the Beejadi Y-Junction-Koteshwara road, Arun was allegedly riding the motorcycle at high speed and carelessly, and lost control over the motorcycle, which skidded and fell on the road.
Both Arun and Sudhakar fell along with the bike and sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital. While Sudhakar was treated as an outpatient, Arun was declared dead. A case was registered at Kundapur traffic police station.
