TAHDCO announces diploma in Aari embroidery and hand printing on textiles

Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) has invited applications for a 30-day diploma course in aari embroidery and hand printing on textiles for Adi Dravidian and tribal youth in Tiruchi. The training is to be conducted in association with Chennai-based Vivacious Academy.

According to an official press release, applicants must have graduated from Class X and Class XII, between the age of 18 to 30 years. The candidates’ annual family income should be within ₹3 lakh.

The course will offer hostel accommodation in Chennai through Vivacious Academy, and certification by National Skill Development Corporation, said the release. TAHDCO will sponsor the hostel, working materials and food fees of the candidates.
