Eight more persons, including two juveniles, have been apprehended in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in north-east Delhi’s Seelampur area on April 17, the police said on Sunday.

The development came after the police took into custody a 19-year-old woman, Zikra, who referred to herself as the “lady don” in the area, on April 18.

According to DCP (North East) Ashish Mishra, Zikra, an 18-year-old accused named Sahil, and the two juveniles (aged 17 and 15) conspired to attack the victim, Kunal Singh.

The remaining five accused were involved in harbouring the main culprits and facilitating their escape, he said.

The police said relevant evidence was collected during the investigation, which confirmed the accused’s involvement.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Sahil had an old rivalry with Kunal.
