Man Killed, Brother Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident Near Beltarodi

Nagpur: A 31-year-old man lost his life, and his brother sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident near Beltarodi on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Nayan Mulchand Rathi, a resident of Ramdaspeth. He was returning from Chichbhuvan with his brother, Kishna, on a two-wheeler when the incident occurred around 8 pm.
According to reports, an unidentified two-wheeler rammed into their vehicle, causing both Nayan and Kishna to fall onto the road. Local bystanders rushed them to a nearby private hospital, where Nayan succumbed to his injuries during treatment at 11.50 am. on Wednesday. Kishna is currently undergoing treatment.
The incident has once again raised concerns about road safety in accident-prone areas. Locals are demanding stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent such tragedies.
