Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate Kala Mandir, the cultural and commercial complex at Tilakwadi in Belagavi on Sunday. The project cost was around ₹47 crore.
Belagavi Smart City Limited demolished the earlier Kala Mandir and built a new one in its place. The construction was completed in 2024. The new structure includes a cultural and a commercial complex.
The building with three floors spread across 2.1 acres has a multi-level car park, shops, food courts, a cultural auditorium and a mini auditorium. It has an open space for parking, outlets, a family entertainment zone, and other amenities.
The CM will later participate in an event to distribute agricultural equipment to farmers in Suvarna Soudha. He will fly in a helicopter to Chikkodi, where he will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of the Karnataka Yadava, Golla and Hanabar association.
