The CITU-backed employees union at Samsung India have planned to hold a protest on April 21, over various issues including salary agreements.
It has also urged the company management to hold ‘a secret poll’ to recognise who holds the majority employee members–the union or the internal committee formed with the management’s support.
The protest will be held at the Sunguvarchatram bus stand, which is about 2 km from the factory on Monday evening, said the union.
