NCB arrests man with 1 kg meth in Tamil Nadu's Pudukottai, Rs 2 lakh seized

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officers apprehended Alex Mahalingam in Pudukkottai, seizing approximately 1 kg of methamphetamine and ₹2 lakh in cash. Mahalingam, already implicated in multiple methamphetamine smuggling cases, was arrested following a tip-off at Melavilakudi. Investigations reveal the drug originated from Bengaluru and was intended for delivery to Sri Lanka via Rameshwaram.
