Lucknow: Bihar governor Arif Mohammad Khan felicitated 89 meritorious students of National PG College for their academic excellence during the 'Medha Samman' held at college on Saturday as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Khan presented medals, certificates, and a cheque of ₹5000 to the winners of the Latent Fest which was held earlier this month in the college.
The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 17 boys and 72 girls from both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Khan said: "India is not just a nation but a civilization founded on the pursuit of knowledge. These students reflect the brilliance of our academic culture. A society that encourages the sharing of knowledge is a truly enlightened one. I am proud to see these bright minds shaping the future of our country."
Principal Devendra Kumar Singh said: "This event marks not just the achievements of our students, but also the strength of our institution's commitment to holistic education. We are honoured by the presence of the Hon'ble governor and deeply inspired by his words."
