Grandeur marked the procession of golden chariot at the temple of Lord Venkateswara on Friday. The procession was organised on Friday (April 11) on the second day of the ongoing annual Vasanthotsavams.

The deities of Lord Malayappa along with his two divine consorts were mounted atop the dazzling chariot and pulled amid ecstasy around the Mada streets of the temple.

Later in the afternoon Snapana Thirumanjanam was conducted upon the deities at Vasanthotsavams mandapam situated at the south west corner of the hill temple.

The religious proceedings culminated with the procession of the deities in the evening.
