The Krishnaraja traffic police registered an FIR against a youth for reckless driving, and the video of which was uploaded to social media.
The FIR was registered on Tuesday after the attention of the police was drawn to the video on social media. The police launched a probe and tracked the owner of the vehicle, who was identified as Vinod.
According to the FIR, Vinod, 30, a businessman, was driving recklessly on the Outer Ring Road and had jeopardized the safety of the public, apart from endangering his own life. A case was registered under sections 184, 189, and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The police seized the vehicle. Further investigations are on.
