If you've been curious about Apple TV and you missed the free weekend a few months ago or if you're an existing subscriber and you want to stick around a little longer, the streaming service is currently offering a can't miss deal: $2.99 a month.
The offer is good for three months, after which the price goes back to normal, $9.99 a month. If you subscribe for the whole period though, that's a $21 savings. Current subscribers can take advantage too, provided you're not billed through a third party (like Amazon Prime), subscribed as part of a bundle, or subscribed through your wireless carrier.
The promotion runs through April 24.
In addition to popular shows like Severance, The Studio, For All Mankind, Silo, and Ted Lasso (which is coming back for a fourth season), the service is home to exclusive MLB and MLS games, award-winning films, and more. The current lineup of shows is gaining attention, but the back catalog is pretty impressive too.
Apple TV+ debuted in 2019 but has not found footing among other services despite its generally high production value. The company hopes offers like this will bring in new eyes that hopefully stick around.
If you want to sign up, just head to the Apple TV+ home page and click "Accept Offer." You will need an Apple ID if you do not have one already (but you do if you have any Apple products). If you do subscribe, be aware your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it.
There are several other ways to get discounted or free Apple TV+. There is a basic 7-day trial that is open to everyone, there is usually a free 12-month, 6-month, or 3-month trial when you purchase Apple hardware, and you can pick up three free months from Best Buy.
