State govt. led by Congress is in ICU: Chalavadi Narayanaswamy

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy alleged here on Wednesday that the State government led by the Congress is in intensive care unit (ICU).

Speaking at the Janakrosha Yatre of the party in the city he alleged that the Congress came to power in the State by making people to believe its lies against the last BJP led government in the State.

Mr. Narayanaswamy claimed that the position of Mr. Siddaramaiah as the Chief Minister is crumbling. “Hence Mr. Siddaramaiah’s chair has only two legs now, which are also shaking,” he said.

The State General Secretary of the BJP and Karkala MLA V. Sunil Kumar said that development has become a mirage under the government led by Mr. Siddaramaiah. The Congress government has completely sidelined the progress of coastal districts by not releasing grants, he alleged.

The Congress government hiked the milk prices thrice, increased the prices of diesel, stamp duty was hiked and fees of other Revenue Department registrations were also increased, he said.

Former Chief Minister and former Union Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda alleged that the Congress government is not pro-people. He claimed that the BJP government stood by people even when not in power. Mr. Siddaramaiah returned to Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) 14 sites allotted to his wife buckling under the “janakrosha” of people and the BJP, he claimed.

Dakshina Kannada MP and State Secretary of BJP Capt. Brijesh Chowta alleged that the Congress government is following “anti-Hindu” policies.

Former Minister B. Sriramulu alleged that the law and order has collapsed in the State.
