In view of Mahavir Jayanti on April 10, all Tasmac shops will remain closed in Erode district. A release from the district Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara said shops, bars attached to it, Foreign Liquor (FL) I category, bars (FL2), star hotels and restaurants (FL3), and other outlets will remain closed for the day. Dry day will be observed across the district and if violations are found, action will be taken accordingly, the release warned.
