Shruthi Narayanan makes first appearance after casting couch video leaked, gives bold speech, says this to paps: Watch viral video

Tamil actress Shruthi Narayanan has stepped out and made her first public appearance after the alleged casting couch video leaked. Shruthi appeared to promote her upcoming movie, Guts. The makers of Guts held a music launch event and it was attended by the cast and crew. The media and other attendees were surprised after Shruthi walked onto the stage, and delivered a speech which was termed 'bold' by everyone. 

In the speech, Shruthi mostly spoke in Tamil, but she also conveyed her thoughts in English, expressing her gratitude to the makers. "I would like to thank the writers and director for giving me this character. Though I'm playing the second female lead, it was a very challenging role. I was very blank, but I got full support on how I should portray the character. I would like to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity, and I even like to thank media dignitaries who were present and showed their support." For the occasion, Shruthi wore a blue saree. However, her confidence after facing such an incident left onlookers and even netizens stunned.

Soon after her MMS was leaked, Shruthi took her thoughts to social media and slammed netizens for spreading her explicit video. She wrote, "For you guys, spreading all these contents on me… it’s just a joke and fun content. But for me and my close ones, this is a very hard situation.” The actress stated that such incidents can take an emotional toll on women, and said, "I am also a girl and have feelings. You guys make it worse." Shruthi is furious with netizens who are enjoying her videos. To them, she conveyed a message, "See the videos of your mother, sister, or girlfriend, because they have the same body as me. Go and enjoy their videos.” 

For the unversed, Narayanan started her career in television. Before that, she was seen in several short films and TVCs. However, the 24-year-old gained stardom with her performance as Vidhya in Siragadikka Aasai on Star Vijay.
