Rajnagar Raj Palace has huge tourism potential: Union minister
Madhubani: Union minister for environment, forest and climate change, Bhupendra Yadav, visited the Rajnagar Raj Palace in Madhubani, accompanied by Kumar Kapileshwar Singh of the royal family, on Monday, and pointed out its vast potential for the development of tourism.
After touring the palace, Yadav expressed his admiration for the unique architectural artistry displayed in the temples and palaces of the complex. The minister emphasised the need to preserve and enhance the Raj palace. "Discussions will be held with the Darbhanga royal family to explore all possible measures to give the historic site a fresh look," he said, also lauding the rich knowledge and scholars of Mithila, calling them exemplary for the entire nation. He also highlighted the region's significant role in the traditions of the Shakti sect of Hindus.
