Pune, April 7, 2025: As part of its community policing initiative, the Kharadi Police Station in Pune organized a blood donation camp on April 5, 2025, in association with Motherhood Hospital and Hinjewadi Blood Bank. The camp took place at the Kharadi police station premises from 10 AM to 2 PM, drawing a positive response from both police personnel and residents.

A total of 67 donors came forward to contribute, including officers and citizens from the Kharadi area. The initiative was applauded by locals, who appreciated the police for their proactive involvement in social welfare efforts beyond their regular duties.

Medical teams from the Hospital and Blood Bank acknowledged the significance of the drive, especially during the summer months when blood shortages are common. They expressed gratitude to the police for their support and successful organization of the event.

The blood donation camp was conducted under the guidance of senior police officials, including Additional Commissioner of Police (Eastern Region)Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 4Himmat Jadhav and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Yerwada Division Pranjali Sonawane.
