District Central Library to hold TNPSC Group I, IV model tests

The District Central Library will conduct model tests on Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group I competitive exam on its West Boulevard Road premises on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

According to a release, the complete portions of Group I will be covered in the model test. Students will be required to answer questions through the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) method. The first five candidates to score high marks in the test will be given a cash prize of ₹500 each. Three students who come second will be given ₹300, and three of those placed third will be given ₹250 each.

On April 7, the library will conduct model tests on TNPSC Group IV competitive exams from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The free tests will be held in association with N.R. I.A.S Academy and Rotary Phoenix Club. Portions covered for the Group IV model test will be Unit II Geography, Unit II Tamil dictionary, October 2024 Current Affairs and problems of Ratio and Proportion in Mathematics.

The first five candidates to score high marks in the test will be given a cash prize of ₹1,000 each. Three students who come second will be given ₹750, and three of those placed third will be given ₹500 each. In addition to this, the library is conducting online practice sessions on its second floor from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday every week.
