Not ready to act in the election drama: Seeman on all-party meet over NEET

Published - April 05, 2025 12:05 am IST - Chennai

NTK chief co-ordinator Seeman on Friday said that he would not participate in the all-party meeting over the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) called by Chief Minister M K Stalin.

He told reporters that he was not ready to “act in the drama being enacted before elections”.

“They [the Union Government] have already said that NEET cannot be cancelled. These people [the State government] have also said they cannot do anything. What is the need for this [meeting] now?” he asked.

Mr. Seeman blamed the erstwhile Congress-led UPA government for introducing NEET initially, and the DMK for “supporting” it.
