25-year-old found dead after betting loss

A 25-year-old man was found dead on railway track between Ammuguda and Sanathnagar railway stations around 9.30 p.m. on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Rajvir Singh Thakur, a resident of Alwal, working as a private employee, allegedly took the drastic step after losing money on online betting games. According to the police, Thakur was living in Alwal with his uncle and cousin.

Following a complaint, the Government Railway Police (GRP), Secunderabad booked a case and initiated investigation.
