Bangalore Orthopaedic Society (BOS) in collaboration with the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA) organised BOSCON 2025, the 28th annual conference, on Saturday at the NIMHANS Convention Centre.
With over 200 participants, the conference focused on intellectual curiosity and excellence in orthopaedic practice.
Key discussions included topics such as arthroscopy, trauma care, joint replacement, and spine surgery.
Anoop Agarwal emphasised the importance of empathy in patient care and highlighted the need for increased focus on elderly care, especially in preventing fragility fractures.
Avinash Parthasarathy reviewed the academic advancements, while Anil Patil encouraged hospitals to offer fellowships for young surgeons. The event also featured engaging workshops for trainees.
