One killed, three injured as car rams into tea shop in Teynampet

A 40-year-old man was killed and three others were injured in Teynampet when a car rammed a roadside tea shop.

The police said that on Wednesday night, Abish Ahamed, 52, of Poonamallee drove his into the tea shop on the platform. Babu, 40 of S.M. Nagar, Nandanam, who was sitting on the platform was crushed to death on the spot and three others who are working at a shop selling lights were injured in the accident. Traffic Investigation Police, Pondy Bazaar registered a case and investigated.
