Transport dept launches smart monthly ticket
Minister of state for transport (independent) Dayashankar Singh said that the MST will be useful for students and daily passengers. People can apply for it online, he said, adding that it can be recharged online or at any bus station. The smart MST will cost about 40% less than regular bus fares.
The online MST will make it even convenient for people to obtain, the minister added.
Talking about the Maha Kumbh, he said that more than 3.2 crore passengers boarded roadways buses during the event.
