The Kota unit of the ACB arrested constables Banveer Acharya and Manish Kumar Jangid, posted at Dadabari Police Station, Kota City, while accepting a bribe of ₹10,000. The duo had allegedly demanded ₹30,000 from a complainant to help shield her sons from legal action in a case registered at the station.

Head Constable in Dholpur Caught with ₹4,000 Bribe

In a separate action, the Dholpur ACB unit arrested Head Constable Krishna Murari of Saipau Police Station while accepting a bribe of ₹4,000. The complainant alleged that the officer had demanded ₹5,000 to “assist” in a legal matter involving him and his family, and ensure they wouldn’t be harassed further.

Under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent Surendra Singh, the trap was executed, and the head constable was apprehended during the transaction. Upon sensing the ACB team’s presence, the officer reportedly threw the bribe money, which is currently being recovered as part of ongoing investigation efforts.
