Ajay Devgn and Kajol got married in 1999 and had planned a long honeymoon.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s lovestory brewed on the sets of ‘Hulchul’ released in 1995. The friendship grew stronger and culminated into a beautiful romantic bond because, ‘pyaar dosti hai!‘ The couple tied the knot in February 1999. In an old video that went viral on the internet spilled beans about their honeymoon.

In the old clip of an interview, Kajol revealed why they had to cut short their long honeymoon period.

Why Ajay Devgn and Kajol Returned From Honeymoon Midway?

Before getting married, Kajol had made Ajay promise to go on a long honeymoon. They wished to spend quality time together and made arrangement for almost 2 month long trip to Los Angeles , Las Vegas, Australia. We went on a honeymoon for two months. It was actually a condition that I had put forward before our marriage. “I wanted to tour the world on our honeymoon. So we booked the tickets. We went from Australia to Los Angeles to Las Vegas…,” she said in an old interview.

However, the vacation bliss was reduced because Ajay wanted to go back home. In the interview ‘Do Patti’ actress shared that owing to her husband’s health condition they had to return. “We were in Greece. It was already 40 days. He was quite tired by then. One morning, he woke up and told me that he had a fever and headache. So I told him I’ll get medicines for him. But he just kept saying that he was not well. When I asked him what we could do, he said ‘Let’s go home!’ I asked him, ‘Home? For a headache?!’ He said, ‘I’m really tired!'”.

The couple is one of B-Town most loved couple. They are parents to two children – Nyasa Devgn and Yug Devgn.

In the B-town, rumours abound about relationships, heartbreaks and controversies. One such grapevine  was about Ajay Devgn’s alleged affair with his co-actor Kangana Ranaut during the shoot of ‘Once upon a Time in Mumbai.’ Reportedly, Kajol got to know about it and threatened to leave. However, the couple reconciled and now live together in Mumbai with their kids. None of the actors ever addressed the rumours.
