The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, through a press note, informed that a total 13,421 building/layout permissions/occupancy certificates have been issued in the financial year 2024-25 by the corporation’s Town Planning wing. The total revenue earned through these permissions is ₹1,138.44 crore.
Of these, 2,320 were non-high rises, 102 were high rise buildings, and six were gated community layouts with housing. Five were layouts with open plotting, and the remaining, individual homes approved through instant approval and instant registration.
A total 140 were commercial buildings, and 46 belonged to institutions, the note informed.
