1k trees to shift as Bengal’s largest translocation project takes shape in Deocha Pachami

The largest translocation of trees in West Bengal is underway at Birbhum's Deocha Pachami coal block. Over 1,000 mature trees, including revered mahua trees, are being relocated to facilitate mining activities. This effort surpasses previous large-scale tree relocations in the state.
