Remains of missing Bokaro youth found

Bokaro: The remains of a 20-year-old youth, identified as Deepak Kumar, were found in Bagjobara village under Petarwar police station limits on Tuesday. Kumar had been missing since December 11 . SDPO Vashishtha Narayan Singh said Kumar's family identified his remains through his dress and a sacred thread around his torso. "Further probe is on," Singh said.
Deepak hailed from Achal Jamun under Bishnugarh police station in Hazaribag but was living with his uncle since 2023 in Bagjobara to pursue computer studies in Petarwar in Bokaro. On Dec 11, he had left the residence but didn't return. A missing person's report was filed at Petarwar police station. However, the cops could not trace him. Locals discovered Kumar's remains, which were reduced to near skeleton from Bagjobara forest post after which the police was alerted.TNN
