Kanpur boy preparing for JEE in Kota commits suicide

Kanpur: An 18-year-old student from Kanpur allegedly committed suicide in Rajasthan's Kota city on Sunday evening. The student was preparing for JEE in Kota, Rajasthan for the past two years.
He was supposed to appear for JEE Main exam scheduled for April 2 in Lucknow.
The boy, was preparing for the JEE entrance examination at a coaching institute and was residing in a hostel in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Kota, Rajasthan.
As per the Kota police, no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
The boy was scheduled to appear for his JEE-Mains exam on April 2 in Lucknow and had a departure ticket booked for Monday. His father, was due to arrive in Kota Monday to accompany him and collect his belongings. However, when he arrived Monday as per the plan, the tragic incident was broken to him. The family, originally from Kanpur district, currently has victim's mother and younger brother residing in Lucknow, where the boy was supposed to appear for his examination.
When boy's body arrived home in an ambulance on Monday night, his grandfather and grandmother broke down in tears. People consoled the elderly grandfather, while the grandmother's health deteriorated. His father, said that he had many hopes for his son, but he couldn't understand why he took such an extreme step.
