3-day PCR for riot mastermind Fahim Khan

Nagpur: The mastermind of the riot case, Fahim Khan, executive secretary of the Minorities Democratic Party (MDP), was sent to the police custody remand for three additional days by the magistrate on Friday. His remand was sought by the crime branch in the offence registered at the Ganeshpeth police station.
Khan, instrumental in instigating a community to pelt stones on police on March 17, had been arrested along with his mentor Mohd Hamid Engineer. A resident of Bande Nawz Nagar, he was earlier in the custody remand of the Ganeshpeth Police Station for two days.
After being sent to jail, Khan was taken into custody once again now by the crime branch for further questioning.
