A 13-year-old girl student who allegedly attempted suicide and was hospitalised on March 22 died at a private hospital in Kozhikode on Tuesday.
The Class VIII student from Koyilandy allegedly attempted suicide while on a visit to her relative’s house. The girl who was first taken to the Koyilandy government hospital was later admitted to a private hospital in Kozhikode.
The police said the statements of the girl’s parents and teachers would be recorded as part of the investigation into the incident.
