Virudhunagar district sports stadium would conduct swimming camps for men and women from April 1. In a statement, Collector V.P. Jeyaseelan said that coaches, appointed by Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, would give swimming training to people. After the 12-day swimming camp, each participant would be given a certificate. This camp will help them learn basic swimming. The camps, held in different batches, would begin on April 1, April 15, April 29, May 13 and May 27. Further details could be obtained from the swimming coach - 97513-93412.
